Adventures in Fjord Landscapes

At the heart of the longest, deepest, narrowest and most beautiful fjords in the world, the Sunnmøre Alps rise steeply. People have cleared their fields, built their houses and clawed their way onto mountain shelves high above the fjord banks. Queen Sonja has constantly returned to the fjord landscape of western Norway to walk in the mountains here.
