To mark the 60th anniversary of Udo Jürgens' ESC classic "Merci Chérie", an exclusive picture disc is being released to accompany the 70th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest, which returns to Vienna in 2026.Side A of the edition contains selected live and studio recordings of the hit from various decades, while side B presents the international versions - in French, English, Italian, Spanish and, as a bonus, in Japanese.As a special highlight, the picture disc features two original photographs of the 1966 Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson, taken by Hansi Hoffmann and printed directly onto the vinyl. "Merci Chérie" was Udo Jürgens' international breakthrough and is one of his most important successes. "Merci Chérie 60" brings together the history, versatility and worldwide significance of the song for the first time in a high-quality collector's edition.
