Manufacturers such as Hymer and Tigano entered the British market in the 1980s, alongside established makes such as Fiat, Peugeot and Talbot.The book also explores the growing popularity of the campervan which received a boost during the COVID pandemic and has continued to be regarded as a viable and practical option for self-catering holidays and breaks.
